Cherie Mellsopp

Cherie's well developed art practice focuses on the repetitious use of singular motifs. A finalist in the 2014 Parkin Drawing Prize, Cherie has also been a regular finalist in the IHC Art Awards and was awarded first prize in 2009. Cherie works across a number of different mediums and her works often explore the direct relationship between the materials used. A wide range of patterns are formed through Cherie's unique visual vocabulary.
